Threats include disrupting data, communications, utilities, and force mobilization. Brandon Pugh, the Army's principal cyber advisor, stressed developing a "playbook" for garrison commanders. Officials emphasize a layered defense using kinetic and non-kinetic counter-drone systems, noting no single "silver bullet." The Army-led Joint Interagency Task Force-401 (JIATF-401) awarded Perennial Autonomy a $5.2 million contract for its AI-powered Bumblebee kinetic interceptor.
