The United Kingdom’s Strategic Defence Review 2025 mandates an immediate transition to warfighting readiness to counter escalating geopolitical threats from Russia and China. To implement these reforms, the 2026 defence investment plan targets major funding toward cyber defence, advanced missile systems, munitions, and domestic industrial capacity.
