The U.S. Army plans to integrate its next-generation command-and-control (NGC2) system across two infantry divisions by the end of the year, aiming to digitally share key battle data. Anduril will lead this effort, bringing the 25th Infantry Division and the 4th Infantry Division to a common NGC2 configuration.
The Colorado-based 4th ID has already tested the "full stack" system for approximately a year in military exercises, including Ivy Sting-Mass and Lightning Surge. NGC2, a program of record since April 2025, enables soldiers and commanders to use a common platform for battle planning and data sharing across various devices and locations. Anduril's Lattice software will facilitate this, focusing on a common data layer that integrates diverse applications, sensors, and hardware. This initiative represents a significant step towards creating a resilient, reliable network for soldiers, supporting the Army's continuous transformation approach. The goal is a universally accessible platform, accessible via existing tools or new Android-based wearables, with full integration expected by year's end.
